Mission Statement

The mission of the organization is to support gender diverse youth, their famiies and communities to foster self-determination through programs and direct services.

Vision Statement
The play-based camp will provide a safe space for the exploration of gender identity and expression, to build community for gender expansive youth and their families and to support these youth and their families with self-empowerment and resiliency curriculum.

To supplement the children’s day camp experience, psychotherapists who are gender specialists will be available after drop off and before pick up to answer questions and facilitate the parent support discussion group.

Ages: 4-12 (Bay Area Rainbow Day Camp)
A play-based day camp for gender expansive youth to reinforce positive, gender identities in a community of their peers.

Ages: 13-17 (Camp Kickin’ It)
A social day camp for gender non binary, questioning, genderqueer and trans* teens to explore Bay Area activities and gender identity in a safe space in a community of their peers.

Location: Ran as a summer camp program of an independent school in El Cerrito, CA.
